This is the back end offering. This is a great model to follow to incorporate diversity?

Any business can adopt this concept. It’s about building a relationship with the customers. It’s the up-sales, those generated through back end sales that will help keep the business trading and to thrive. The key is to obtain the customers contact details so that they can be contacted either by email, phone or by post. It’s the back end business which makes the real money.

Many are now turning to the internet for e-commerce, income and alternative careers. As a result, internet marketing is becoming more and more used through many businesses. You probably have already noticed when you go to purchase items or make enquiries through the internet that your details are now captured. This is to start that relationship. Regardless whether you go ahead and purchase, your details are on file. And guess what, you will be contacted, generally by email where upon you will be shown the latest and greatest deals. This goes on until you unsubscribe.

If people put their mind to it, there are endless possibilities to start a home based business. Whether this is for those with spare time at home, out of work, looking for a second income or to help as a charity, there are many opportunities. Ideas could range from child minders, walking dogs, grow fruit and vegetables to sell locally, painting and decorating, cutting and weeding peoples gardens and so on. Some work will require a specific skill set, but many don’t. These are all services people are prepared to pay for.

But whatever business is taken on, it does require the desire, compassion and tenacity to succeed. These are mindset issue and true leadership qualities. There may also be the need to buy the tools for the required work, but not everything has to be purchased from new and will help keep start up costs to a minimum.

So if you have the desire, the tools, the skills and have found a niche in the market place, then you are more or less ready to go. But now you need you need a good internet marketing strategy to market your service or business. Marketing can be costly, but there are a number of cost effective solutions. You could do local mail drops, advertise at your local shops, place ads in your local papers and use the power of the internet. By marketing, you will you be able to gauge the demand for the service and identify your customers.

So with a service, mindset and customers lined up, now you are ready to go. But of course this is only the beginning.
